sindhu: you have to install mtn to get the source code, or wait just al little longer for the next final/beta release.

Ugh… I liked the MSN logo, or Yahoo logo, or QQ logo beside the buddies, so that I could easily tell which service I was using to communicate with them.
This just makes it hard to use.
Hi, well it’s nicer than gaim for sure, but i think that it should be a bit more “exciting”, i really would like to see something like trillian on my linux box

Is it possible to make the icons for enter/leave more distinguishable? I have problems to see immediately who did enter/leave.

I too miss the protocol specific icons in the buddy list, at least the protocol can be seen in the popup. But in a message-window you have to either get the contact details or guess.
One could rename their contacts to include the protocol, doesn’t look very nice, though.
I know it’s not wright place to ask, but… what gnome theme you use? I like very much what I can see at above picture…

Which license are your icons under? I know that the original Tango set is cc-by-nc-sa, while other Tango icons are GPL…
I’m currently working on some Tango icon sets (e.g., aMule). Could I re-use some of your icons for these projects?
Thank you
Looks very promising!
This is exciting!
I’m so, so, so very happy you guys have finally made the jump to Tango icons like GIMP and OpenOffice!
This really made my day!
Amazing GUI
It’s lo TANGO like I love it.
PS.: Webcam support ?

This is the reason of the new buddy list system: http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/DesignGuidelines

mischamajskij: They are, just like Pidgin, GPL.
