For all dutch readers i’ve assembled a list of opinions of parties regarding (free) software and privacy.

1. Biometric data stored in chips on new pasports should be stored in a central database.

2. Google should stop spreading maps of satelite images on Google Earth because they could be used by terrorists for planning attacks.

3. Current voting machines aren’t reliable enough and should get a “paper trail”.

4. The government should try to avoid using software from Microsoft and switch to Open Source Software as much as possible.

I’ll add a list of opinions on software patents and data retention later. (if someone has such a list it would be more then welcome:))

    GroenLinks heeft zelfs een Werkgroep Open Source, die zich met OS/OSS binnen de partij (en naar buiten) bezighoudt.
