You rock!
fear of GTK+ aMSN2?
YES! I’m so freaking excited!
What about making pidgin a Telepathy frontend?
Dear Hylke,
Thats very good news ! I have been running pidigin with msnp14(please note that I enabled/compiled the support) and works great so far.
My question would be if the MSNP15 will be available in the next release as a default behaviour or I will have to enable it just like MSNP14, thanks and keep up the good work!
Christian: I’m pretty sure it will be on by default, because it was always shipped as an option until now.
Hylke,
Thanks a lot! greetings from Argentina!
Hylke.
One question that yoy may help, I understand is still on testing, but yesterday I kept getting this message whilst trying to connect to msn using protocol 14/15:
MSN connection error: Unable to retrieve MSN Address Book
its also been posted on: http://pidgin.im/pipermail/support/2008-July/001742.html
It seems to me some change in the server side (probably some protocol change?)
Thanks!
Christian
