Think you could make a bigger png of it for people that use a Dock?
- On my dock the original icon from 2.0.0beta7 looks all blurry and yuck compared to the rest of my icons on the dock..

I’m using the latest beta and I love it, would be nice if upon startup it made the sound of a pidgin.
The work you’ve done on Pidgin has made it gorgeous and graphically consistent with the rest of my desktop interface. I appreciate it. Thank you for your hard work!

You’ve done a very nice work, but I can’t help but think that the pigeon in the largest icon looks stupid :s
It’s something with its eyes :
The smaller icons have the eyes focused on the left, as if they were watching what the user is doing - it makes them look way more intelligent.
Have you thought about reproducing this feature on the large-scale icon ?

Loïc, pigeons shouldn’t look intelligent, the smaller versions have their eyes to the left because there was no room.

What about restyling the logo a little bit with your style? I’m a new pidgin user, I moved to pidgin because I liked the icons, UI stuff, ease of use, adium-like… but i’m not too fan of the logo (text/image) tho. I think you should put your hand on it. For the good of the program.
Oh, and I love the pigeon looking stupid, I don’t remember any mascot of a program that was an stupid-looking animal. I think its very original, keep it with soul!

Mr. doob, fortunately for you there aren’t many places where you actually see the logo, only in the about dialog and website really.
Ahhh… Thank-you so much for posting these. I’ve been looking for them for a while. I like the pigeon logo so much that I think it should be the default emoticon set.
